Editorial approach: Read every reference in its paragraph, chapter, and biblical setting. The index groups passages by their role in the whole-Bible salvation storyline rather than treating isolated phrases as complete explanations. How to Use This Index
This is a reading map, not a substitute for reading Scripture in context. Each entry names a passage and the part of the salvation story it helps explain. Read the complete paragraph or chapter, identify the speaker and audience, and compare the passage with the surrounding biblical storyline.
The sequence moves from creation and the fall through promise, covenant, Yeshua the Redeemer, the cross and resurrection, the Holy Spirit, the life of faith, final judgment, and restored creation. The references are not presented as isolated proof texts.

What This Index Does—and Does Not Do
Scripture uses salvation language across different settings: rescue from oppression, forgiveness, covenant belonging, deliverance from sin and death, present transformation, resurrection, judgment, and restored creation. Not every passage addresses every part of that story. The study-focus line beside each reference identifies a reason to read the passage; it does not claim that the passage is a complete definition by itself.
When a later biblical writer cites or echoes an earlier passage, first read the earlier text in its own setting, then compare how the later writer uses it. Notice whether the passage is narrative, law, poetry, prophecy, Gospel, history, a letter, or apocalyptic vision. Those differences affect how a sentence should be read. Use the focused guides for explanation, but return to the biblical text to test every summary.
